September - Saturday, Sept. 11 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. - ACCAFT Back To School Meeting/Party at the AFLCIO Hall at 11th & Lavaca.  There will be an AFT Benefits presentation by Barbara Lightheart from TexasAFT.  She knows everything about the benefits that your membership brings with it from insurance to car rental discounts.  We will have free lunch, beverages, and DOOR PRIZES.  One lucky ACCAFT member will win a $100 gift card!!  Must be present to win!

August - Friday, August 20 at Uncle Billy's BBQ at 1530 Barton Springs Rd from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. after the General Assembly at the Hyatt. Food and drinks provided for members. Door prizes for members as well!

Thursday, July 22 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Mangia Pizza at 3016 Guadalupe (across the street from Wheatsville Co-op at 31st and Guadalupe). Free food and drinks for members. There is free parking in the garage behind the restaurant.

Friday, May 7 from 4:30-6 p.m. at Scholz Garden at 1607 San Jacinto. Come inside to get meter money so your parking is free. Also swing by Education Austin parking garage at 316 W. 12th St. (between Guadalupe & Lavaca) to pick up signs for delivery on Friday evening for Board election (pick up signs between 3 & 6:30 p.m.). The Pecos Bill event is also at Scholz Garden starting about 5:30.

Saturday, April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NeWorlDeli . New World Deli address: 4101 Guadalupe. Free parking. Lunch will be provided, plus DOOR PRIZES!! Learn about the Board of trustees election on May 8 as well.

COPE members: We will have ACC Board of Trustees election candidate interviews on Saturday, March 27 at the AFLCIO Hall at 11th and Lavaca from 9 a.m. sharp to approximately 5 p.m. We will interview all 8 candidates. Come early for free breakfast. Free lunch will also be provided.

Thursday, March 11 from 5 to 7 pm at Opal Divine's at 700 West 6th (across from Katz's Deli). We might be sitting upstairs. Free appetizers, dinner, & beverages. We will discuss F-10, compensation, the ACC budget, and the upcoming election on May 8 for the Board.
